This is really cool!
Steve Gibson, creator of SpinRite and uberguru of all things harddrive, dabbles in lots of areas that catch his interest. And, unlike me who dabbles, gets muddy and moves on, he becomes an uberguru of that area, and stays with it as it continues to develop and evolve.
One of areas within his universe of expertise is encryption, and applying that to his daily work environment. And when he did that recently (within the past year), and tweaked the technique to his satisfaction, he rolled it out to his faithful listeners on the Security Now! podcast, moderated by the erudite Leo LaPorte. (They really do make a most excellent team.)
Well, the result of this foray into encryption and his work environment was the development and publication of Perfect Paper Passwords, a.k.a. PPP. The page that goes with it will give you the rudiments of multifactor encryption, help you develop a massive, unbreakable key, and give you the Perfect Paper Password to go along with it so you can access your system from wherever and know that no one else can get into it.
So now be off, and secure your system.
