This article give a Top 10 list of highs when using Mac’s OS. And using both Windows and OS X myself, I have to agree that these observations are reflective of my experience.
A friend and I were talking today about the differences between the Windows world and the OS X world, and my friend nailed it:
- Steve Jobs assumes that the user knows nothing about using computers, so has built a very intuitive OS, and imposes that process on the applications.
- Bill Gates assumes that the user is knowledgeable, and provides a multitude of ways to do everything.
Both approaches have their benefits, and both have their problems. But this Top 10 List spotlights some of the ways OS X shines.
