This article asks why lawyers dislike Linux so much. Why they would take time – otherwise billable time, presumably – to write an article about the evils of Linux. And then get shot down so publicly.
The author concludes that the legal community, or at least the authors of these articles, expects to benefit from the obfuscation resulting from the misleading, unclear and erroneous information provided in the article. After all, if you don’t understand what the lawyer says, maybe you need that lawyer to represent you should you be sued because you use Linux.
(sigh) You just have to wonder at the underhanded and self-servingness of this approach. I guess it boils down to the that old detective’s adage, “Follow the money.”
