Top 20 ways to speed up your Mac

PCs are known for slowing down, having problems, becoming real dogs. A common solution among my kids circle of friends and acquaintances is to reformat and re-install the OS. (Oh, that’s right, PCs don’t have an OS, that’s reserved for REAL machines like Linux and Mac.) Temporary relief can be achieved by defragging the hard drive, clearing the browser cache, and other quick fixes.

Macs, however, a bullet proof, a veritible computer-carnation of Super Man. They don’t need to be speeded up, defragged, or have any other remedial work done. But, in case they do, here is a list of 20 things you can do to speed up your Mac.
