A number of studies show that there is one constant to becoming an expert: practice. Regardless of the discipline, sport, art, or whatever, all those who got beyond “playing” at a mediocre level put in time – lots of time. 10,000 hours of time.

Not extra coaching. Not better lessons. Not better equipment. Not better books.
