It is not real easy for someone to make the move from Windows to another system. We get used to the way things are, they way they fit together, work together, and the convenience of the standards that Microsoft(R) defined.

Moving to Mac is not a seamless transition: new standards, an Apple button, delete works differently, and other differences.

But you now want to play in the Linux arena. Where to start? How to install? What to do?

This article helps poor n00bs like us get going.
