Business cards are ubiquitous, and are all the same: colored lettering on a white 2″ x 3.5″ card, with maybe a photo, logo or other “branding” info. And too forgetable.

You don’t run with the herd, and have your own business. What can you do to break away in this vital arena of business stationary?

I don’t have the answers, though I have some ideas I’d like to try in my own business, and have been experimenting with some variations within the normal bounds of tradition. (I really am a fairly traditional person, after all.)

However, some inventive, original and creative people have come up with some really unique business cards that definitely break out of the 2″ x 3.5″ heavy white card stock territory. Here are some of their alternative business card creations.
